Cornwall Butterfly Conservation is working to establish the present status of butterflies in Cornwall so we can tell which species are increasing or in decline. If you live in the region and are a member of Butterfly Conservation you automatically become a member of the Cornwall branch.
Take look at the incredible work being done by Butterfly Conservation Cornwall's dedicated volunteers to help reverse declines of some of the UK's rarest species of butterflies.

We give butterfly talks to interested groups and organisations about various topics. Please contact us if you would like to book a talk.
Conservation projects
The ‘All the Moor Butterflies’ project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will help to restore and create habitat for the Pearl-bordered Fritillary, High Brown Fritillary, Heath Fritillary and Marsh Fritillary on some of the UK’s most famous moorland landscapes.
