Join us on Saturday 8th October for Butterfly Conservation Scotland's Members' Day.
This half-day event will take place online as we await more venues taking bookings for large events like this following the pandemic. Between 10am and 1pm we'll hear from a range of fascinating speakers, including BC staff and volunteers, and friends from other organisations.
Our keynote speaker is still to be confirmed, but we'll have talks on the creation and maintenance of wildflower meadows specifically for insects. We'll also get an update on special surveys for Small-pearl Bordered Fritillary, Large Heath and Northern Brown Argus, and research on the Currant Shoot Borer Moth, Lampronia capitella. Another highlight will be the display of moths caught in light traps across Scotland.
The finalised programme will appear here soon.
Booking: booking is essential, and you can book your space through the Zoom website here. This event is free to attend, but any donations would be very welcome.
Once you have booked your space you will receive a confirmation email through Zoom. Bookings for this event will close on Friday 7th October at noon.
