Butterfly Walks in Somerset and Bristol is a beautifully illustrated guidebook providing enthusiasts with everything they need to know on where to spot every species of butterfly this part of the country has to offer, including the previously extinct Large Blue.

It has been produced by Butterfly Conservation’s Somerset and Bristol Branch, with the help of some of the country’s leading butterfly experts.

BC Somerset Walks

“This introduces beginners and experts alike to thirty-seven enchanting walks chosen to demonstrate the full range of butterfly species and representative habitats for which the region is famed. For newcomers to butterfly spotting, the idea of finding many of our scarcer species may initially seem daunting. Armed with this guide it is easily attainable.”

Jeremy Thomas, Professor of Ecology at Oxford University.
